The first step is to apply , which is quite simple. Just click the link and fill out the new affiliate membership form. It's absolutely free!
Simply;

• Complete the online registration
• Then print-out and complete the W-9 form and fax it back
Your application will be reviewed immediately and you will be notified within 5 days of your status.
Once you sign up, you may link to our entire catalog, or select individual HeartMath products that you feel are appropriate for your website. Heartmath provides banners, buttons, and text links that you can use on your site. When a visitor clicks on the HeartMath link and buys something, you will automatically earn a 15% sales commission. The more you sell, the more you earn. It's a win-win situation!
Once a purchase is made, you get credit for the sale. We keep track of all the purchases made by visitors clicking on the HeartMath links posted on your site.
The running total of your earned commissions are easily tracked and available for your viewing online.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I become a Web Affiliate?
Read over the HeartMath Affiliate Agreement and Approval Standards. Submit your application. (Note: Application cannot be accessed until you accept the terms of the Agreement). Once your application has been processed, a HeartMath representative will contact you by email to discuss the affiliation process.
How do you track sales?
HeartMath allows our affiliate partners to easily create linking codes necessary to track referral sales, click-throughs, and commissions. These statistics are available online 24 hours a day for all of our affiliate partners.
How long does it take for a sale to be recorded?
A sale will not be reflected in your account until approximately one business day from the time it was shipped. For example, if an order was placed on Tuesday, then shipped on Wednesday, it will not be recorded as a sale in your account until Thursday.
Can I log-in for stats through heartmath.com?
Once approved as an affiliate, you can log-in via our web interface above, at the link below. Please note that through our log-in you can only access stats for sales made at heartmath.com, and will only reflect sales made utilizing our tracking system.
How many products can I display on my site?
You may display as many products and images as you like from the choices available from HeartMath, once you have been approved as an affiliate. However, you may not attempt to duplicate our catalog in any way.
Can I include product pricing info on my site?
No. Product prices are subject to change. Displaying inaccurate pricing information runs the risk of causing customer dissatisfaction.
How often will I get paid commission?
We send commission checks on the 20th of each month based on prior month sales.
I lost my password, where can I retrieve it?
No problem. Simply go to the forget password area, at the following web link and enter your email address, and hit 'submit'. You will receive a response shortly thereafter.

Will I get paid on every sale coming through my links, or just on first-time customers?
You will be paid for all orders that were referred through your site. Our program will pay you commission on every sale that results from a direct link between our site and yours.
Can I include mention of my affiliation with HeartMath in any promotional literature?
Before including mention of HeartMath in any promotional literature, we need to see a preview or draft of any copy at least thirty (30) business days before its use. We will then notify you in writing whether or not your request has been approved. Until approval has been granted, you are not permitted to use our name, logos, etc., except as outlined in the affiliate agreement.
Can I change or personalize the graphics or banners provided by HeartMath?
No. It is not permissible to change or personalize any HeartMath images. You can, however, borrow text from the HeartMath website upon pre-approval.
Can I use HeartMath in my URL or in the name of my site?
No. The use of HeartMath or any variation thereof in your URL or in the name of your site will be cause for your immediate dismissal from the affiliate program. In such a case when you breach the affiliate agreement, you thereby forfeit any earned commissions.
What kind of advertising can I do?
Reach out to others by writing a newsletter. Use testimonials about HeartMath, write an article. Remember, you can use the copy from heartmath.com. You will need written approval from HeartMath to purchase advertising for our product anywhere online or offline. If you want to purchase pay-per-click ads on search engines such as Google or Yahoo, that is allowed, but you cannot use the HeartMath URL ( heartmath.com ) in your ad or represent yourself as part of HeartMath.
What kind of advertising is prohibited?
You cannot send unsolicited email (aka spam) in any way. There will be no clemency in cases of unsolicited email, and affiliates in violation of this policy will forfeit their commissions and be removed from the program.
Can I issue a press release or other kind of announcement regarding my affiliation with HeartMath?
Yes, but with only with HeartMath's prior written consent, prior to mailing the press release, emails or any direct mail solicitation.
Why do I have to provide my social security number?
We need this information for tax filing purposes. We need your Social Security number, because if your calendar-year commissions exceed $600, HeartMath must issue you a Form 1099MISC at the end of the calendar year that must be filed with Form 1040.

Affiliate Application Standards
We ask that our affiliate sites maintain a clean, uncluttered look and feel. Sites must be aesthetically pleasing.
We prefer your website have a minimum of 3000 Site Visitors per month. Most levels of traffic below this standard make it difficult for a revenue-share relationship to work for you, the affiliate. We will gladly make exceptions for new sites that have yet to officially launch.

Although we will consider affiliate applicants in other categories, the preceding categories have the best chance of being successful based on our target market. New web sites falling into one of these categories are strongly encouraged to apply.
Our experience has shown that personal home pages do not generate enough traffic and visitors to make a revenue-share relationship profitable and worthwhile for either party. We'd rather avoid a situation where a personal home page affiliate has worked hard to build HeartMath into their site, only to encounter disappointing results.
We do reserve the right to refuse a site if it contains objectionable material including pornography, explicit language or content, or support for violent groups.
We do not allow bidding on our brand names or variations of our brands. We do not allow registration of domain names that include our brand or are similar to our brand.
Your commission is paid on Net Sales resulting from Qualifying Orders.
"Qualifying Order" means a bone-fide order that a purchaser submits via the shopping cart on heartmath.com in which he or she is delivered by your link.
"Net Sales" means the selling price of HeartMath's merchandise (not counting sales tax, shipping and handling charges, or other separately itemized special charges, such as insurance) specified in a Qualifying Order, less Deductions.
"Deductions" means the selling price of HeartMath merchandise that a customer returns within 90 days after shipment, that is not shipped due to cancellation by the customer or HeartMath or disapproval by the Payment Source, or that the Payment Source charges back after shipment. Deductions also include such negative or positive amounts as are necessary to adjust for errors in the Qualifying Order, such as duplicate submission or inaccurate price that HeartMath order processors or customer service personnel correct with customer consent or at the customer's request.
"Payment Source" means the credit card issuer or other payment means designated by the purchaser in the Qualifying Order. Sometimes the Payment Source will refuse to approve a Qualifying Order for payment because an invalid card number has been given, the order price exceeds the purchaser's credit limit, or the order appears suspicious. In the case of stolen credit card numbers, the Payment Source that initially approved an order may reverse the charges when the actual cardholder complains about a bill.
Under the currently used technology, we will place a cookie on the end-user's computer as he/she is delivered from your link to the HeartMath Website, to identify your Website as the delivering source when an order is placed in our shopping cart. The cookie will expire 365 days after it is placed. Therefore, if the end-user returns to the HeartMath Website and places an order while your cookie remains active, the tracking software will treat this as a Qualifying Order.
Sometimes merchandise will be out of stock when a Qualifying Order is received, or will be manufactured to order, so shipment or approval by the Payment Source may be delayed, or an order may be canceled.
You should check your account at least monthly and promptly notify HeartMath if you believe there are errors in the calculation of commissions we owe you or deductions that we have taken. You will waive the right to contest any underlying calculation 90 days after a payment is made to you.
You will not receive a commission if the end-user orders by telephone or fax.
HeartMath reserves the right to refuse any site, especially if it contains unsuitable material. Web sites that would violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right; encourage illegal activity or racism; or feature hard liquor, tobacco products, gambling, or materials, products, or services related to pornography will be deemed unacceptable for the HeartMath Affiliate Program.
We reserve the right to change the technology we employ to calculate commissions owed to you.
